Privacy Policy — AI Wallpaper Studio

1. Information We Collect

To provide AI wallpaper generation, community features, and app support, we collect the following data:

• Account Data — Email address and a hashed password when you create an account.
• Prompts and Generations — The text prompts you enter and the resulting AI-generated images are transmitted to a third-party AI generation service (Agnes). Prompts are screened for safety (NSFW content filtering) but are not permanently stored on our servers beyond the generation process.
• Community Sharing — If you publish a generated wallpaper to the community gallery, the image, your prompt, username, and style tag are publicly visible to other users.
• Purchase Data — When you make in-app purchases, Microsoft Store provides transaction receipts used to verify and grant credits and Pro access. Receipt data is transmitted to our server for validation and is not retained longer than necessary.
• Anonymous Usage Data — We track aggregate generation counts, credit usage, and feature interactions to enforce limits and improve the service.
• Local Logs — The app maintains local diagnostic logs on your device at %LOCALAPPDATA%/AIWallpaper/logs/. These logs may contain prompt excerpts and app usage timestamps. They remain on your device and are not automatically transmitted.
• Bug Reports — If you voluntarily submit a bug report via the app's tray menu, we collect your description, optional contact email, and the most recent local log content. This data is sent to our server for diagnostic purposes and is retained for up to 90 days before deletion.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To authenticate your account and manage your session.
• To generate AI wallpapers based on your text prompts via a third-party service.
• To screen generated content for inappropriate material before delivery.
• To manage your credit balance, Pro tier status, and HD access permissions.
• To verify in-app purchase receipts and grant corresponding benefits.
• To review and moderate community gallery content (including user reports).
• To diagnose and fix app issues when you submit a bug report.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

AI Wallpaper Studio relies on the following third-party services:

• Agnes AI — AI image generation. Your text prompts are sent to Agnes for processing. Generated images are temporarily processed through NSFW screening.
• Supabase — User authentication, database (account info, credits, community wallpapers), and file storage for community images.
• Microsoft Store — In-app purchase processing and receipt validation.

Each third party operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

4. Content Moderation

All AI-generated images are screened for NSFW content before being delivered to you. Community-shared wallpapers that violate our content policy may be removed upon review. Users can report inappropriate content through the app's reporting feature.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your account credentials, credit balance, and generated wallpaper metadata are stored on Supabase servers with encryption at rest. Local credentials on your device are encrypted using Windows DPAPI. Local diagnostic logs are stored unencrypted on your device. We do not store full-resolution generated images on our servers unless you publish them to the community gallery.

6. Data Retention

• Account data — Retained until you request account deletion.
• Community wallpapers — Retained until you delete them or they are removed for policy violations.
• Bug reports — Retained for up to 90 days, then permanently deleted.
• Local logs — Retained on your device for 30 days, then automatically rotated.

7. Children's Privacy

AI Wallpaper Studio is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the support email below. You may also delete individual community wallpapers from the app at any time.
